Have An Active Social Media Presence
By having an active social media presence and engaging with your residents on different platforms, you encourage them to see you as a friend instead of a business. You can also encourage residents to send you their content to share on social media (we’re looking at you, Furbaby, Fridays!)
Resident Events
You can never have too many resident events! No matter how big or small, different types of resident events appeal to different renters. We recommend having at least one resident event a month, even if it’s as small as inviting your residents to stop by to say hi and grab a snack! Face to face interaction shows your residents that there is a person who actually cares about them and their home. Some fun resident event ideas include:

Be Friendly
Building a community doesn’t have to take a lot of time and effort. Sometimes the simple act of smiling and saying hi to your residents when you see them and get to know them is the best way to go about it. By building personal relationships with your residents, you’ll brighten their day every time they see you and help them to feel welcome in their community. You should also encourage other employees to do the same!
