Free Events
Waldo hosts a variety of events throughout the year, like the Fall Festival, which happens in September and offers live music, food, drinks, and a family-friendly atmosphere; or the Kansas City Hopfest that takes place off of Broadway. Another tradition in Waldo is the Trolley Run in April, which is not free to run, but IS free to watch!
The Great Outdoors
Loose Park is a beautiful, safe, and relaxing park in Kansas City with historical features, a great walking trail, a LAKE, and a playground for the kiddos! And if all of that weren’t dreamy enough, Loose Park is also home to the Kansas City Rose Garden, which was founded in 1931—today, it contains about 4,000 roses!
